The welder goes to the job, not the other way round

One machine, and most of a workshop goes through it

We stock what a welder actually reaches for on a Tuesday morning — the machine, the rods, the wire, the helmet and the gas — and we keep all of it on the shelf in Bellville instead of on order from Gauteng. Everything on the floor has been run on the bench behind the counter first. If it will not strike clean on a cold 3.2 mm rod off a fifteen amp plug, we do not sell it.

Argon, CO2, argoshield and oxy-acetylene, on exchange at the Bellville counter. Bring the empty in the morning and take a full one back to the job before lunch.
