Colour-coded, every single time

The four-colour system is not a gimmick and it is not ours — it is the standard every food-safety auditor in this country works off. Red for the toilet and the urinal. Yellow for the basin, the mirror and everything else in the washroom. Blue for general surfaces, offices and glass. Green for food areas, the prep counter and the bar. Once a site is on it, a cloth cannot wander from a cubicle to a boardroom table, and nobody has to remember which bucket was which on a Friday afternoon. Residue is the other half of it. On a food floor, a degreaser left to dry instead of rinsed leaves a film that holds dust for a week and turns slippery the moment somebody spills water on it. That is not a chemical problem, it is a dilution problem, and a chart on the store room wall fixes it faster than anything we could sell you. So every chemical that leaves here goes out with a laminated chart for that product, with the ratio for the daily wipe-down and the ratio for a heavy clean.
