People kept asking where to get it, so now it also sits on a shelf by the front desk. We make no claims about minerals curing anything. You get hot, you get quiet, and you sleep properly for the first time in a month.
My sister and I took the lease on the old bathhouse at the top of Bath Street in 2016. It had been shut for eleven years and the roof over the change rooms was gone. The water comes up out of the Langeberg at forty-three degrees and fills the top pool in under an hour, so nothing here is heated. It cools as it runs down the terrace, which is why the bottom pool is the one people can actually stay in. There are six treatment rooms now, four of them in the original 1898 building. We take twelve bookings a day and then we stop, because the whole thing stops working the moment there is a queue.
Bath Street, Montagu, twenty minutes off Route 62. Pools open seven to eight in summer and seven to six from May through August. Treatments by appointment, Tuesday to Sunday.
