Bought out of estates and farm clearances around the Midlands, stripped, sharpened and sold once.
See what is on the bench
Rasp is two benches in an old dairy shed outside Howick. We buy at deceased-estate sales, farm clearances and the odd dock auction in Durban, so everything on this page is a single tool with a single history behind it. We grade honestly, because you cannot come back next week and buy the same one. User grade means pitting, a replaced part or a shortened blade, and it is priced to be worked with. Collector grade means original everything, and we will tell you what the maker’s mark is and where we think it was struck. If a handle is not the one it left the factory with, that is in the first line of the description, not the last.
Behind the old dairy on Karkloof Road, Howick. Open Saturdays 08:00 to 13:00, otherwise ring first. Postage is R180 anywhere in the country, insured, and saws go boxed on a batten.
