Strapping, braces and rehab kit, off the shelf in Walmer, Gqeberha.
Shop the shelf
Behind the counter there is a bench with a roll holder, a pair of blunt-nose scissors and a tape measure that has been screwed to the edge of it since we opened in 2016. Tape gets cut on that bench to the length you actually need, and the offcuts go into a tin for the school first-aid bags instead of into the bin. Everything on the shelf has been through the bench first. If we have not strapped an ankle with it, or worn it ourselves for a week, we do not stock it — which is why the wall in here is a good deal shorter than the catalogues the reps keep leaving behind.

A brace is only worth the money if it sits where it is meant to sit. We measure above and below the joint, put the thing on you at the counter, and get you to walk the length of the shop in it before anybody pays for anything. If the size is wrong once you get home, bring it back inside seven days with the packaging and we will swap it. Braces that have already been through a game come back for a wash and a re-fit instead, which is nearly always what the problem actually was.
