Flowers cut this week, not last

Grown on eight rows outside Stanford, cut before seven and in the Observatory cold room by lunch.

What we cut, and when

We cut on Monday and Thursday mornings on a smallholding outside Stanford, and the boxes are in the Observatory cold room by lunchtime the same day. Everything on this page is what is standing in buckets right now. When a row finishes it comes off the list until next season.

Standing orders

One bunch a week on the same day, invoiced at the end of the month, so nobody has to remember to order it. We pack Tuesdays and Fridays from six and the van is out by nine — three restaurants, two guesthouses and about forty houses between Observatory and Kalk Bay.

Notes on every stem

Weddings, four a season

We quote off what will actually be open that week rather than off a mood board, and we say so plainly when the date and the flowers do not agree. Send the date and the venue.

Deliveries run Tuesday and Friday between Observatory and Kalk Bay, and Friday only for the rest of the city. We do not courier flowers — they never arrive the way they left.
