Built to outlast the childhood
We have been building play structures on a plot outside Muldersdrift since 2009, and the first frame we ever put up is still standing in a garden in Ruimsig with a second family’s children on it. Everything is cut from SA pine, planed on all four sides and treated to H4 — the grade meant to go into the ground, not the H3 stacked outside most hardware shops. Uprights are set in concrete rather than bedded in sand, and every joint is bolted with galvanised coach screws so the timber can move through a Highveld summer without splitting around a nail. The frame carries a ten-year guarantee and the moving parts two years, and we come back and re-tension the ropes for nothing over that first stretch. We deliver and install anywhere inside 120 km of the yard, which takes in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Krugersdorp and out as far as Hartbeespoort. Further than that we still come — we just have to charge for the trip.
