Sixteen years later we deliver across the East Rand and up onto the Highveld as far as Delmas and Bethal, and the work has not really changed: get the bottle there before it runs out, put the right regulator on the end of it, and come back the day it does not light. Every cylinder leaves an SABS-approved filling plant, every one is pressure-tested on its ten-year cycle and stamped, and every installation we do over 100 kg gets a Certificate of Conformity signed by a registered installer — which is the piece of paper your insurer asks for on the one day you actually need them. We do not sell anything we would not run in our own kitchens, and we will tell you on the phone when you do not need what you phoned to buy.
