The building
The Boland Produce shed packed apricots until 1974 and then stood empty on Waveren Street for fifty years, with pigeons in the trusses and a roof that let the rain straight through. We cleared it over the winter, rewired the whole thing and put a new roof on. From September it holds sixteen traders, four long shared tables, and one coal fire at the far end.
