Doing it properly costs about the same as doing it badly
Anyone with a bakkie and a chainsaw can drop a tree. The difference shows up afterwards, in the flattened irrigation line, the cracked pool coping, the neighbour’s carport, or the protected stinkwood you were never allowed to touch in the first place. So we rig. On a stand with no fall zone every limb comes down on a rope to a groundsman, not onto your lawn. We check the municipal and national lists before we quote, and if the tree is protected we say so and apply for the permit rather than pretending it is not there. Boards go over the beds, the chipper works off the pavement, and the site is raked before we ask you to sign anything. The four questions everybody asks us are answered further down this page.
