What a sale costs you
Every card payment carries a processing cost. Your plan decides whether Frontstore adds anything on top of it.
The two work as a trade-off: the more you pay monthly, the less comes off each sale — until, on the top two plans, Frontstore stops taking a share entirely.
- Zero — R0/month · 6% + R2 per sale. No subscription at all, so this is where Frontstore earns.
- Starter — R100/month · 3.2% + R2 per sale.
- Growth — R450/month · 2.9% + R1 per sale — card processing only. Frontstore takes nothing.
- Advanced — R1600/month · 2.9% + R1 per sale — card processing only. Frontstore takes nothing.
On Growth and Advanced there is no Frontstore cut on your sales — none. The 2.9% + R1 is what it costs to process a card payment, passed straight through to you at cost. Frontstore earns from your monthly subscription instead, so growing your sales never costs you more.
And at the other end
On Zero there is no monthly subscription at all — you only pay when you actually make a sale. If business is quiet, your store stays open and costs you nothing.
