If you are a registered business
- CIPC registration certificate — your company registration document.
- Bank confirmation letter — a letter or stamped statement from your bank confirming the business account.
- Proof of address — a utility bill, lease or account statement, no older than three months.
If you are an individual or sole proprietor
- Bank confirmation letter — confirming the account in your name.
- Proof of address — no older than three months.
You will also be asked for your ID document.
The bank account you give us must belong to the business or person being verified. If the name on the bank letter does not match your registration, the check will fail — this is the single most common reason an application is held up.
